HOME ALONE · IN THE LAB

A song that
keeps them company.

For the ones who wait by the door. A calm, personalised song woven with your pet’s little names and the reassuring words they know by heart.

Let’s jam for your pet

A handmade experiment. A few more pets. A little honest feedback.

Watercolour of a dog sleeping on a peach blanket by a sunny window, with music notes, a heart and a distant train.
Made for my dear friend Cinthia’s pup, Gina.

THE LISTENING ROOM

A little calma, mi amor.

Soft piano, warm guitar and a gentle Spanish voice. Gina’s familiar nicknames drift through a slow, unhurried song made for her time at home.

ONE AFTERNOON. ONE DOG. ONE JAM.

It started with Gina.

My dear friend Cinthia’s pup, Gina, lives in Guadalajara. She is sweet, protective and very fond of affection. When her person heads out, Gina gets some quiet time at home.

What if the soundtrack to that time felt a little more familiar? We gathered the tender words she hears every day: “Bebela”, “Tortuguita”, “Mamachita”. The little reassurances. The promise to come back.

Even the neighbourhood had a part to play: a train, a distant truck bell, followed by “calma, mi amor”. Nothing startling. Nothing that says “let’s go out!” Just a musical idea worth trying, gently.

HOW WE MAKE YOUR PET’S JAM

Their world.
Set to a gentler soundtrack.

  1. 01

    Tell me about your pet.

Their name, their little names, your calming phrases, language and everyday sounds. Tell me what excites or unsettles them, too.

  2. 02

    We jam.

I shape a slow, steady song around those familiar words. Optional everyday sounds stay faint and far away, followed by a gentle cue. We can leave them out entirely.

  3. 03

Try it together. Find your rhythm.

Begin at low volume while you’re both home. Watch how your pet responds, then decide whether it belongs in their home-alone routine. Their comfort sets the pace.

ANY PET. ANY LANGUAGE. A LITTLE CURIOSITY.

Who’s waiting for you?

Dogs, cats… maybe even a parrot? Let’s find out. We’re looking for a few more pets to make songs for, and people happy to tell us how it went.

No perfect brief needed. Tell me about your companion and add “Home Alone – pet song” to your message.

A FEW PET-SIZED QUESTIONS

A little reassurance.

Who is Home Alone for?

Dogs, cats and the people who love them. Maybe even a parrot? Let’s find out. Each song starts with the individual pet, rather than a one-size-fits-all playlist.

Can the song be in another language?

Yes. Share the words and little names your pet hears at home, in whichever language feels like home. Gina’s first song is in Spanish.

Is that their person’s actual voice?

Gina’s track uses a softly generated singing voice, not a recording or clone of her person. If you would like to explore weaving in a real voice clip, mention it when we chat; we’ll work out what is possible together.

Will it stop barking or separation anxiety?

There are no guaranteed behavioural results. This is a musical companion, not treatment or a replacement for a vet or qualified behaviour professional. Try it together first at low volume; leave out any sound that unsettles your pet.

Can I order one yet?

Home Alone is In the Lab: a handmade experiment looking for a few more pets and honest feedback. There is no paid checkout. Tell Sean about your pet through AquariusAF and put “Home Alone – pet song” in your message.

Companions, never cures. A song is one small part of a caring home. For persistent distress, speak with your vet or a qualified behaviour professional.
