YOUR STORY. YOUR CHOICE.
Privacy Policy
Your story belongs in the song. Your private details do not belong on a billboard.

Freakquencies is the creative music project operated by Sean Wallbridge. In these pages, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sean operating Freakquencies.
1. What comes into the cosmic kitchen
Just browsing: our hosting provider, Netlify, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. We do not currently run advertising pixels, behavioural advertising or audience analytics on this site.
When you contact us or leave a review: we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email, product, rating, feedback, optional location, publication choices and private notes. The review form opens on Tally, which processes the submission under its own privacy policy. The form is published; automatic website ingestion and the private moderation service are not active yet. A form submission does not automatically become a public testimonial.
If you separately commission creative work or send a song brief: the material may include your preferences, story, recipient information and optional birth details for Energy Maps. These are personal details, so please share only what you have permission to use and what the project needs. Do not send payment-card numbers, identity documents, medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Payments: website checkout is not currently enabled. When Stripe checkout is introduced, Stripe will process payment information under its own privacy policy. We expect to receive the order, payment status and contact information needed to fulfil the order, rather than your full card number or card security code. This page will be updated before new payment-related collection begins.
2. Why we use it
We use information to answer your questions, prepare creative work you request, manage your review choices, resolve problems, keep appropriate business records and protect the service. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. An enquiry or review is not permission to add you to a marketing list. Any future marketing signup will be a separate choice.
3. The people and tools behind the music
Sean and authorized service providers may process the information needed for their work. Netlify hosts the website; Tally handles its external forms; Suno hosts and plays linked music. If you request creative work, AI-assisted tools, including OpenAI and Suno, and the storage or communication services used for that project may process relevant submitted material. We aim to use only the information necessary for each task. AI tools are part of the creative workflow; they are not a confidential professional-advice service.
Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices: Netlify, Tally, Suno, OpenAI and, when payments open, Stripe. Clicking an external link or playing an embedded song connects you to that provider. It may receive technical data and use cookies or similar technology under its own policy.
Providers may process information in the United States, Canada or other countries, where privacy rules and access by authorities may differ. We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect people, prevent fraud or defend legal rights. Private notes are not intended for public display or general helper access.
4. Reviews: applause is optional. So is the map.
Publication and map participation are separate choices. A review is eligible for website publication only with explicit permission and human approval. A public version may include your first name and last initial, review text, rating, product and date. Please leave out contact details, children's identifying information and anything you would not want strangers to read.
The optional map uses an approximate city location shared by everyone in that city. It does not show a home, street address, precise birth location or live device location. Location filters can still reveal that a review relates to a particular city, so only opt in if that feels right. Private notes and contact email are not part of the public review.
The website displays selected legacy testimonials that were submitted with explicit publication permission and reviewed before release. Automatic ingestion and private moderation endpoints remain disabled. No legacy reviewer location is displayed without separate map consent. You can ask us to correct, remove or stop displaying your review or location. Removal from our site cannot recall copies or screenshots already made by others.
5. Little humans deserve extra care
This site is intended for adults arranging music, gifts or feedback. Children should not submit personal information themselves. A parent or legal guardian must authorize the use of a child's information; being a gift-giver alone does not establish that permission. Do not include identifying child details in public reviews or public artwork. If a child's information has been submitted without permission, contact Sean so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
6. Keeping it safe, keeping it only as long as needed
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, including HTTPS for this site and limiting access to people who need it. No website or internet transmission comes with a force field or a guarantee of perfect security.
We retain information only as needed for the request or project, your publication choices, legitimate business records, security or legal obligations. Retention can differ between correspondence, original Tally submissions, creative files, public reviews and provider backups. Deleting a review from our website does not automatically erase the original Tally submission or every provider copy; tell us the scope of your request so we can address those records too. Where deletion must be delayed for legal reasons or backup cycles, we will explain the limitation.
7. Your choices, without a maze
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, request deletion, withdraw optional consent or raise a concern. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability or a complaint to your local privacy regulator. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may verify your identity proportionately before releasing or changing private records. Withdrawing information necessary to make a requested song may affect whether we can finish it; we will explain that before proceeding.
Your browser lets you manage cookies and similar storage. We currently set no advertising or analytics cookies of our own; external players and forms may behave differently. We will update this notice before introducing materially different collection or tracking and obtain fresh permission where required.
8. A real human at the other end
For privacy questions, access, corrections or removal requests, contact Sean Wallbridge at hello@freakquencies.com. This inbox is being activated while ordering remains closed. Use “Freakquencies privacy” in the subject and avoid sending extra sensitive details in your first message.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be explained on the site; a new policy does not silently turn an old “no” into a “yes”.
